Winemaker Professional

We are seeking a motivated and hands-on Assistant Winemaker to join our team at our Mudgee Estate.

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing all winery operations from grape processing to bottling, as well as basic laboratory analysis and overseeing the maintenance and hygiene of the winemaking facility.

• Key Responsibilities:
• Perform all winery operations from grape processing to bottling
• Basic Laboratory analysis
• Oversee all maintenance and hygiene of the winemaking facility
• Maintain relevant records and information in the various systems
• Identify, review, and develop where required, Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's).
• Work collaboratively in the team.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Tertiary Studies in Oenology
• At least 3 years' experience working in winemaking roles.
• Strong practical skills and experience in operating cellar machinery
• A collaborative approach to working in a team
• Forklift licenses and experience
• A valid driver's license and own transport
• Vineyard experience will be highly regarded
• Mechanical aptitude or equipment maintenance experience will be highly regarded
