Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Hydraulic Engineer to join our dynamic Building Services Project Department.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and experienced engineer to lead projects representing all disciplines, provide hydraulic services, consult with clients, and work on a diverse range of commercial, residential, retail, local government, office fit-out, and industrial projects.

About the Role

As a successful candidate, you will:

  • Be responsible for providing technical and design input to projects, ensuring compliance with Australian standards and regulations.
  • Consult with clients on matters related to engineering services, providing expert advice and guidance.
  • Lead projects representing all disciplines, working collaboratively with team members to deliver high-quality results.
  • Work on a diverse range of projects, including commercial, residential, retail, local government, office fit-out, and industrial projects.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A minimum qualification of a Degree in Mechanical Services or equivalent from a recognized tertiary institution.
  • Minimum five years of local Australian experience in a similar role, demonstrating expertise in mechanical engineering design and project leadership.
  • Understanding of Australian standards and regulations related to mechanical engineering design.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD (Revit experience would be an advantage), Hyena Software Calcs, and Standard Microsoft Tools (Word, Excel etc.).
  • Ability to work independently and manage own project portfolio, with excellent time management and organisational skills.
  • Excellent client communication and liaison skills, with the ability to convey information accurately.
  • Registered building practitioner or Chartered professional engineer status would be an advantage.
Estimated Salary Range

The estimated salary range for this role is $120,000 - $150,000 per annum, depending on experience.
