Australian Workforce is seeking a skilled and experienced Trainer/Instructor to facilitate Dogging, Rigging (Basic & Intermediate), and Crane specialisms to join a leading registered training organisation (RTO) in a dynamic and collaborative work environment.

This is a Full-Time opportunity, working 7:30 am to 4:30 pm, Monday to Friday, with the possibility of weekend work. Training is also delivered off-campus.

About You

  • A can-do attitude and an upbeat personality
  • Ability to multitask in a busy RTO environment
  • Ability to work as part of a team and autonomously when required
  • Ability to prioritize tasks to meet deadlines with excellent problem-solving and organizational skills
  • Possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Demonstrate solid experience as a Trainer/Assessor and hold current industry skills

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging and relevant training & assessment services (combined theory and practical activities)
  • Ensure content and delivery of accredited courses meets ASQA/RTO Standards and other applicable regulations
  • Supervise students' behaviors and provide engaging and motivating training
  • Maintain equipment, training venues, and training aids to ensure they are serviceable, clean, tidy, and safe for operation
  • Travel may be required to deliver training off-site
  • Perform other general duties as required

Requirements

  • Possess a High-Risk Work Licence (HRWL)
  • Demonstrated lifting experience within the construction/civil, resources & infrastructure, or training sectors
  • TAA Qualifications
  • Current Working Children Check Card and willing to obtain a Police Check prior
  • Be accredited by WorkSafe (or ability to gain accreditation, if applicable)
  • You will need to be an Australian Resident
  • Must hold a valid Australian Driver's Licence
