About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Sales and Business Growth Manager to join our team at IHG Hotels & Resorts. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients and external partners to drive revenue growth.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Proactively manage relationships with National and Regional Sales teams, as well as sister properties, to ensure alignment across the region and accounts.
  • Collaborate with Crowne Meetings Manager to bring the client's vision for Groups or Meetings to life on property.
  • Actively pursue opportunities to enlarge the MICE segment for the hotel, including creating an ongoing pipeline and successfully shifting business from the competition.
  • Identify new source markets and develop strategies to penetrate them, using opportunity research to identify potential new business and opportunities.
  • Support sales initiatives for the Hotel through site inspections, client entertainment, familiarisations, attending trade shows, and other events that form part of the sales and marketing plan.

What We Need From You:

  • Bachelor's degree / higher education qualification / equivalent in Hotel Administration or Sales/Management.
  • Minimum 3 years of demonstrated hotel sales experience within Australasia with a proven track record of success driving repeat business.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Good understanding of hotel systems and revenue management principles.
