Security Project Manager Melbourne Opportunity

A challenging opportunity exists for a highly skilled Security Project Manager to lead the management of physical, personnel, and information security on a large-scale construction project in Melbourne. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for establishing project security protocols, managing security governance, and conducting security audits for trade subcontractors and consultants.
About the Role:
The successful candidate will have experience in managing security requirements on defence and/or construction sites, with a demonstrated understanding of Government Security requirements. They will possess excellent communication skills to facilitate client security meetings and resolve issues. Additionally, they will be able to report on Security compliance and contribute to the overall success of the project.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement project security protocols
- Manage security governance and conduct regular security audits
- Facilitate client security meetings and resolve issues
- Report on Security compliance
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you must be an Australian Citizen at the time of application, hold Government Security Clearance or be able to gain and maintain one. You will also need experience in managing security requirements on defence and/or construction sites, as well as a demonstrated understanding of Government Security requirements.
