Job Overview

The Data Engineer plays a pivotal role in operationalising the data platform to business areas, fostering collaboration with ICT Engineers, data modellers, data analysts, and stakeholders to develop reusable data patterns within a cloud-based Microsoft Azure environment.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement data pipelines for reporting, analysis, and data science initiatives using Microsoft Power BI.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of data solutions.

Design and maintain scalable data architectures to meet evolving business needs.

Qualifications and Experience

Recent experience (ideally 2 years +) in a data engineering role is mandatory.

Desirable: Experience working within an Azure cloud data environment and developing data pipelines for data visualisation tools.

Eligibility and Conditions of Employment

Australian citizenship is required.

Character clearance (Australian Criminal History Check), Employee Health Declaration, and six months probationary period for new engagements are necessary conditions.

Ability to obtain and maintain a Baseline Security Clearance is also required.
