Responsibilities:

* Daily management of shift
* Administrative management of associates
* Job allocation to associates
* Monitoring and mentoring of associates on productivity, quality, and safety
* Analysis of data reports to identify performance bottlenecks and improve performance
* Monitor status of problem-solving queues
* Responsible for shift quality and associated action plans
* Preparing and implementing training and development plans for associates
* Conducting 4M and 5S audits for respective workstations daily
* Implementing formal process control and process improvement mechanisms such as Kaizen
* Defining the transportation process from FC to FC/RSC
* Ensuring enough bandwidth in sortation teams for peak time delivery management
* Continuously improving throughput and attaining sustained delivery performance improvement
* Standing in for Area Manager

Requirements:

* High school or equivalent
* Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays
* Can lift up to 49 pounds, stand/walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours, and be able to frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach
* Work 40 hours/week, and overtime as required

Preferred Qualifications:

* 1+ years of Microsoft Office products and applications experience
