Leadership Opportunity

We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated and experienced consumer peer worker to join our team as a Community Peer Work Supervisor.

This full-time position will see you working closely with mental health service managers to support the growth of the peer workforce across services.

About the Role

The successful candidate will provide professional leadership, mentoring, and reflective supervision to consumer peer workers. They will also be involved in recruitment, orientation, and ongoing professional development of this workforce.

The ideal candidate has lived experience of mental illness and recovery, direct peer work experience, and skills in mentoring and supervising others.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership, guidance, and support to consumer peer workers
  • Develop and implement strategies to promote the growth of the peer workforce
  • Collaborate with mental health service managers to achieve business objectives
Selection Criteria
  • Lived experience of mental illness and recovery
  • Experience of undertaking direct peer work with consumers
  • Skills in mentoring and supervising others
