Senior Chef Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Chef to join our kitchen team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual who is passionate about delivering exceptional food quality and providing outstanding customer service.

  • This position involves leading a high-performing kitchen team, ensuring that all meals are prepared and served to the highest standards of quality, presentation, and timeliness.
  • You will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety regulations, and promoting a positive work culture.
  • The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of menu planning, inventory management, and financial controls within a hospitality business.
  • Excellent leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and guide kitchen staff, are essential for this role.
  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Preparation and delivery of high-quality food within a fast-paced restaurant environment.
  • Leading, training, and developing a team of chefs and cooks.
  • Maintaining a safe and hygienic kitchen environment, adhering to all food preparation and cleanliness guidelines.
  • Ensuring that all meals are cooked in accordance with recipes and plating guides, and that all meals are served on time.
  • Requirements:
  • Demonstrated experience as a Sous Chef or similar role in a hotel, restaurant, or pub environment.
  • Energetic attitude, team player approach, and strong work ethic.
  • Experience and understanding of financial controls of a hospitality business.
  • Ability to lead, train, and develop a team.
  • Knowledge of food cost control, inventory management, and kitchen operations.
