About the Opportunity

This role involves managing financial records, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and providing accurate financial reports to drive business success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including accruals, prepayments, and manual journals.
  • Maintain and reconcile the general ledger, ensuring all financial data is accurate and complete.
  • Assist internal and external auditors by providing necessary documentation and explanations to facilitate smooth audits.
  • Help ensure compliance with financial regulations and tax obligations.
  • Conduct financial analysis to support business decisions, including cost, profitability, and risk assessments.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
  • Prior experience working in a similar role would be highly advantageous.
  • Ability to maintain accurate financial records and ensure error-free reporting.
  • Able to meet deadlines for monthly, quarterly, and annual reports, ensuring timely processing of accounts.
  • Proficient in preparing financial statements and performing cost, profitability, and risk assessments to support business decisions.
  • Ability to comply with financial regulations and standards, including tax obligations and BAS lodgement standards.
  • Effectively use accounting software (e.g., Xero) and Excel for financial reporting and analysis.
