Job Title:

Senior Biomedical Laboratory Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Biomedical Laboratory Specialist to join our team in a fast-paced laboratory environment. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional with strong biomedical science background and haematological testing experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct complex laboratory tests and analyses using various techniques and equipment.
  • Interpret test results and provide accurate diagnoses to healthcare professionals.
  • Collaborate with other laboratory staff to ensure efficient and effective workflow.
  • Develop and maintain quality control procedures to ensure accurate test results.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date with the latest techniques and technologies.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in biomedical sciences or related field.
  • Postgraduate qualifications in haematology or related field (desirable).
  • Registered with the GMC and eligible for full registration.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
