Senior Radiologic Technologist Position

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Radiologic Technologist to join our multidisciplinary team. As a key member of our department, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality radiographic imaging services for specialized procedures within the Angiography Suite.

About the Role

  • Interpret cardiology and vascular requests, performing advanced specialized procedures in accordance with radiation safety regulations and hospital policies.
  • Evaluate and recommend new techniques and procedures in collaboration with senior angiography suite caregivers and clinicians.
  • Safely archive and retrieve patient data, maintaining accurate records of procedural data.
  • Operate radiological equipment efficiently, prioritizing workload and performing under time constraints.

Requirements

  • Tertiary qualification in Medical Imaging and significant experience in advanced practice skills.
  • Demonstrate a thorough knowledge of radiographic principles, procedures, and standards.
  • Adapt technique to suit non-routine situations, applying Radiation Safety Legislation and ALARA principles effectively.
