Remote Accommodation Maintenance Role
About the Job- Civeo Australia is seeking an Electrician to join their Asset & Facilities Management team, working across remote accommodation villages in regional Queensland.
- This hands-on role involves performing maintenance tasks, with travel required across multiple villages on a lifestyle-friendly roster.
The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out reactive, planned and preventative maintenance in Civeo Villages in a professional, safe and timely manner. This includes repairing, upgrading and installing electrical appliances and infrastructure while complying with relevant legislation.
Key Responsibilities- Performing electrical maintenance across remote accommodation villages.
- Carrying out repairs, upgrades and installations of electrical appliances and infrastructure.
- Ensuring compliance with safety standards and relevant legislation.
- Traveling across multiple villages as part of a field-based role.
- Lifestyle-friendly 7:7 roster allowing for regular time off.
- Flexible FIFO options available from Brisbane or the Gold Coast.
- Drive-in, Drive-out option available for local candidates, including a $7k annual incentive bonus paid quarterly.
- All meals provided on-site, catering to various preferences, allergies and intolerances.
- Amenities such as gyms, hubs and pools are available at each village.
- Employee benefits include retailer discounts, reward programs and access to confidential counseling services.
- Educational qualifications: Open Electrical Licence.
- Driving skills: Class C, Manual Driver's Licence.
- Work experience: At least 5 years' experience in similar work, preferably in service/hospitality/high-volume hotel services over multiple sites.
- Mandatory requirements: Ability to pass pre-employment medical, National Police Clearance or willingness to obtain, documentation proving working rights within Australia.
- Desirable skills: Experience working in mine sites, mining villages, residential/demountable buildings, exceptional communication skills and a passion for providing a safe working environment.
