About the Role

Monash Health is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maternity Solution Architect to join our team. As a key member of our digital health team, you will be responsible for providing technical leadership on the implementation, use, and suitability of an end-to-end digital solution to meet the Maternity Services requirement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversight of solution design to ensure scalability and maintainability
  • Liaise with clinical informatics and vendors to achieve the best possible design
  • Ensure the solution aligns with Monash Health architecture
  • Deep understanding of business requirements and work with stakeholders to understand technical requirements
  • Active role in project technical risk and issue management
  • Ensure the technology solution meets the needs of the organisation
  • Design the technical solution to meet requirements, including developing technical specifications and creating architecture diagrams
  • Lead project artefact creation, maintenance, and inclusion in the organisation's architecture repository
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to other technical teams
  • Lead domain strategy discussions on behalf of the project with EMR operational resources
  • Ensure the as-built solution is aligned with the design
  • Ensure the solution is compliant with regulatory and legal requirements
  • Work closely with Testing Manager to develop testing strategy
  • Ensure vendor and Monash teams correctly prioritise defects
  • Ensure defect resolution occurs in a timely manner
  • Ensure high-quality documentation for error resolution and workarounds
  • Work closely with Operational team on system changes impacting existing EMR workflows or functions
  • Provide high-quality advice to stakeholders and EMR management
  • Work closely with integration team to deliver integration and data migration components
  • Establish and maintain close relationships with vendors
  • Develop and present options papers to Monash Health Governance committees
  • Develop knowledge and capability of project team resources
  • Take an active role in transitioning project to BAU support
  • Accountable for identifying and delivering key Project Benefits
