Mathematics Teacher (Years 7 - Vce) Position Overview

This Contract position is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated and passionate educator to join our school community.

The successful applicant will have the ability to provide high-quality teaching and learning experiences for students in Years 7 to Vce Mathematics.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide opportunities for student engagement through a variety of learning experiences where they are encouraged and supported in achieving personal excellence;
  • Provide students with positive role modelling as a committed educator;
  • Support students with individual and group work in accordance with the work requirements outlined in the course of studies;
  • Assist the Key Learning Leaders in reviewing, designing and developing curriculum;
  • Positively contribute to the teaching team;
  • Participate in extra-curricular programs;

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Teaching qualification with current registration;
  • Experience teaching Mathematics (Years 7 -Vce);
  • Understanding of and demonstrated commitment to the Catholic philosophy and ethos of education;
  • Understanding of the pastoral care needs of boys in a secondary school;
