About the Role

Panthers Penrith is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Gaming Supervisor to join our team. As a Gaming Supervisor, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the gaming floor, ensuring exceptional customer service, and leading a team of staff to deliver an outstanding experience.

Main Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Maintain high levels of customer service on the gaming floor at all times, ensuring a positive and welcoming experience for all patrons.
  • Staff Supervision: Supervise up to 20 staff members on each shift, providing guidance, support, and performance management to ensure the team is working effectively.
  • Operations Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the gaming floor, ensuring effective business practices and excellent service delivery.
  • Complaint Resolution: Investigate and resolve customer complaints in a fair and timely manner, following established dispute resolution procedures.
  • Shift and Staff Management: Manage shift schedules, staff performance, and disciplinary actions, ensuring a smooth and efficient operation.
  • Enquiries and Issues: Assist employees and customers with any enquiries, and resolve any issues regarding internal systems and programs.
  • Reporting and Briefings: Conduct briefings with staff each shift, allocate duties, and complete daily shift reports on outcomes.
  • Quality and Standards: Uphold high standards of providing exceptional hospitality, cleanliness, and presentation.
Requirements
  • Experience: At least 6 months of experience in a supervisory role within the hospitality industry, with a minimum of 12 months of experience in a gaming-related or similar role.
  • Leadership: Strong leadership abilities, with the ability to effectively lead and manage a team.
  • Communication: Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to handle complaints and conflicts effectively.
  • Cash Handling and Computer Skills: Superior cash handling skills and proficient computer skills.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and a competent decision-maker.
  • Confidence and Stress Management: A high level of confidence in handling challenging and stressful situations.
  • Certifications: RSA/RCG and TAB Basics Certificates.
