Role Summary:
Amberlea Community, a Baptcare Residential Aged Care facility, is currently seeking dedicated individuals for casual positions as Environmental Services Assistants. We are looking for reliable candidates who can adapt to flexible working hours to uphold the highest standards of cleanliness and service.
The primary responsibilities of this role include ensuring the efficiency of cleaning tasks and fostering positive relationships with residents, which significantly influences the overall service quality and atmosphere of the facility.
Candidate Profile:
If you possess experience in performing various domestic duties to uphold hygiene standards in a homely setting, this opportunity may be ideal for you.
Your responsibilities will encompass:
- Making beds for residents
- Cleaning residents' rooms, including en-suites, communal areas, and administrative spaces
- Proper disposal of waste, including recycling and arranging bins for collection
- Assisting with the laundering of residents' clothing and other items as needed
- Completing additional tasks and errands to maintain a pleasant, caring, and secure environment for residents
- Restocking linen trolleys and cleaning supplies throughout the facility
