Warehouse Operations Manager

Job Description

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and support three direct supervisors and their teams across transport, picking, and stock control.
  • Oversee daily warehouse operations, including dispatch, receipting, stock rotation, and HACCP compliance.
  • Drive cultural change through coaching, clear communication, and consistent leadership.
  • Coordinate stock movement, storage, and system receipting with the Stock Controller.
  • Monitor and schedule vehicle and building maintenance.
  • Manage site rostering, overtime tracking, and payroll reporting.
  • Promote a safe, compliant, and audit-ready environment.
  • Be visible and approachable, earning team trust by leading from the ground up.
Requirements
  • Proven experience managing large teams in fast-paced operations or warehouse environments.
  • Natural coaching and leadership skills, with experience in upskilling, mentoring, and getting the best out of people.
  • Hands-on and proactive approach to work, with a strong focus on team, stock, and processes.
  • Strong communication and coordination skills across multiple functions and shift patterns.
Bonus (Nice to Have)
  • Knowledge of Health & Safety regulations and a proactive approach to site compliance.
  • Forklift Licence.
  • Medium Ridgid Truck licence.
Success Metrics (6-12 months)
