Cardiology Specialist RoleAbout the Opportunity

This is a key appointment to our healthcare service at Launceston General Hospital. The role will be working within the cardiology department, providing specialist care to patients. You will also be involved in research and quality improvement activities, as well as teaching and mentoring.

Our Cardiology Department

We have a team of experienced cardiologists and advanced trainees, providing 24/7 cardiac services to Northern Tasmania. Our department has exciting plans for expansion to the Northern Heart Centre with state-of-the-art facilities.

We pride ourselves on being a well-supported, friendly environment where you can practice evidence-backed medicine, complex coronary work and structural heart interventions.

You will have the opportunity to work with a skilled multidisciplinary team, delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to our department's growth and development.
