Overview

Nursing Professional - Emergency Services

Role Overview: As a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care in our dynamic Emergency Department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide person-centred nursing care to patients of all ages, utilising evidence-based practices and clinical expertise.
  • Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary healthcare team to achieve quality patient outcomes.
  • Supervise and support less experienced clinicians to ensure seamless delivery of care.
  • Engage in professional development and ongoing competence to maintain currency in skills and knowledge.

Requirements

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Registered Nurse.
  • Competencies and knowledge for nursing care within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Effective clinical communication using information technology, written and verbal skills with professional interpersonal abilities.
  • Evidence-based practice and critical thinking to advocate for and implement individualised person-centred care with a commitment to quality improvement.
