Senior Data Analyst

We seek an enthusiastic leader in data analytics to drive the development of our planning application, aiming to maximize supply chain efficiency.
You will collaborate with supply chain planners and data analysts, solving complex scenarios and improving processes before deployment into production. You will also delve into vast datasets across the supply chain to uncover insights that unlock system capacity and deliver business goals.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and support the optimization planning application alongside our external partner.
- Analyze various supply chain capacity impact questions using diverse data sources.
- Support analysis and assumptions review on key data sets during regular planning processes.
- Apply classical and modern statistical analysis techniques to provide insights on supply chain performance.
- Drive the development and maintenance of supporting toolkits, including static capacity models and analysis processes.
- Mentor peers in data analysis best practices and innovative ways of deriving meaningful insights.
- Proactively drive project outcomes and timelines in individual or team settings.
- Guide vendors and teams to develop the overall strategy of our system's landscape.
- Communicate insights and analysis outcomes to operations stakeholders.
- Tertiary qualifications in data science, mathematics, engineering, or similar disciplines.
- Previous experience in supply chain data analysis, particularly in the mining industry and time usage models.
- Advanced Python programming skills, with experience using Pyomo highly regarded.
- Understanding of mixed-integer programming (MIP) and model relaxation strategies.
- Experience in Gurobi (or equivalent) solver configuration and tuning.
- Strong SQL skills and comfortable working with large datasets like Snowflake and data historian systems.
- Experience with collaboration tools & ticketing systems (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, GitHub) is preferred.
