About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager for Site Operations to join our team. This is a full-time permanent position that will involve identifying and supporting sales opportunities, as well as taking responsibility for the growth of our company's products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Achieve agreed sales/revenue targets through effective business development and account management strategies.
  • Provide expert technical guidance and support to internal and external stakeholders, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration across teams.
  • Work closely with customers to provide process improvement on specific applications, leveraging our expertise in rock processing solutions.
  • Liaise with sales, product support, and product management teams to establish testing procedures, matrices, and follow-up reporting.
  • Report and record competitor installed base and report findings, providing valuable insights to inform business decisions.
  • Domestic (and occasional international) travel as required to meet with clients and attend industry events.
Requirements:
  • Demonstrated experience in a similar position and within a relatable industry, minimum 3 years.
  • Ability to make quality decisions based on information and data, with a strong analytical mindset.
  • Demonstrates knowledge of customer businesses, with a deep understanding of their needs and challenges.
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written), with the ability to effectively articulate complex ideas and solutions.
  • Problem-solving skills, with a focus on finding creative solutions to drive business growth.
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally as required, with a flexible approach to work arrangements.
  • Passionate attitude regarding building strong, effective, long-term relationships with customers.
  • Exceptional time management and prioritization skills, with a focus on meeting deadlines and delivering results.
  • Ability to develop detailed reports, with a strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to function effectively in both a local and multicultural work environment.
  • Ability to be a self-starter and work autonomously, with a high degree of initiative and motivation.
