Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Chemical Formulation Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and formulating new flooring products, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and formulate new flooring products, including vinyl flooring and adhesives
  • Conduct research and development to improve product performance and quality
  • Collaborate with suppliers to define and refine product specifications
  • Manage external testing and certification processes to ensure product compliance
  • Maintain laboratory equipment, testing instruments, and inventory levels
  • Analyze and interpret data to inform product development and improvement initiatives
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Chemistry or a related field
  • At least 6-8 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the flooring or related industry
  • Proven experience in product formulation, R&D, and quality control
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with suppliers and team members
