Job Description:

We are seeking a passionate and experienced HSE Advisor to join our team in the Weipa region, in far North Qld. As a key member of our site operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring a safe working environment for our employees and contractors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive incident investigations and provide local support of the injury management process.
• Administer inductions and competency assessments, and support teams with developing pre-task risk assessments.
• Lead toolbox meetings and drive company and client-driven HSE activities and programs.
• Support staff to comply with HACCP and Food Safety plans and train staff according to respective requirements.

Requirements:

• Qualification in Health and Safety (mandatory)
• Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (desired)
• Excellent time management and teamwork skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Strong computer literacy
• Australian Citizenship or full Australian working rights
• Current full Manual Driver's license is mandatory to operate our site vehicles
• Ability to undergo a pre-employment medical, including drug & alcohol testing and police check
