Career Success Australia is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Manufacturing and Quality Assurance Engineering Intern. This 12-week internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a small-mid-size manufacturing firm specializing in the growing HVAC and automotive manufacturing industry in Australia.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough inspections of the production system and products to ensure quality and work-on-time standards are met.
  • Perform audits and create reports to optimize the production process, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
  • Investigate non-conformance in production, analyze root causes, and develop preventive and corrective actions to ensure compliance.
  • Liaise with suppliers, engineers, management, and clients to ensure seamless production process execution.
  • Collaborate with the team to develop and implement quality control procedures, ensuring adherence to industry standards.

What You Will Learn:

  • Experience in quality control engineering, including incoming material inspection, product evaluation, inventory control, metrology, and automated testing.
  • Develop skills in analyzing quality assurance gaps and implementing process improvements in consultation with stakeholders.
  • Gain knowledge of quality assurance product/raw material release, batch process records, and manufacturing data monitoring for compliance.

Requirements:

  • Membership in the CSA Internship Academy is required.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Basic knowledge of quality control principles and manufacturing processes.
