About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Mental Health Support Worker to join our team at Ermha365. As a key member of our support team, you will play a vital role in assisting individuals with mental health and disability needs to develop skills and abilities to gain independence and confidence.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide 1:1 and 2:1 support to consumers in their own homes and community settings
  • Meet the individual needs according to an established behavioral support plan
  • Develop professional relationships with individuals, their families, and other stakeholders in the community
  • Provide accurate and timely case notes to ensure a consistent experience for consumers
  • Support consumers to work towards their individual goals
Requirements:
  • Prior experience supporting people with mental health and disability needs, either through work or lived experience
  • Theoretical knowledge beneficial
  • Ability to work autonomously and within a team
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Emotional resilience and ability to manage challenging behaviors
