About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Tow Truck Driver to join our team in Adelaide CBD. This is a full-time, permanent position with a competitive salary.

Job Description:

The successful candidate will be responsible for responding to road service calls, loading, transporting, and unloading vehicles across the Adelaide Metropolitan area. You will represent our brand on the road, providing professional, safe, and solution-focused services to our members.

  • Use safe towing practices to recover and transport vehicles in compliance with industry regulations.
  • Provide exceptional service and prompt solutions to our members with courtesy and professionalism.
  • Proactively manage tasks to ensure timely completion.
  • Communicate effectively with operational staff to expedite service delivery.
  • Stay updated with industry skills to offer the best solutions.
  • Build strong professional relationships, embodying RAA corporate values and ethics.

Requirements:
  • Hold a current South Australian Medium or Heavy Rigid truck licence.
  • Flexibility to work on a roster over a 6-day week (including public holidays) – for shifts between 6:00am – 10:00pm.
  • Current South Australian unencumbered 'C-class' driver's licence.
  • Eligible to obtain a South Australian Tow Operators Certificate.
  • Ability to establish and maintain relationships with a wide variety of key stakeholders.
  • Outstanding attention to detail along with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Be an innovative thinker with the ability to multi-task and manage competing priorities.
