Job Title: Inventory Admin Officer
About the RoleWe are seeking a skilled Inventory Admin to maintain the accuracy and integrity of our inventory data and systems. This critical role is responsible for updating and managing the inventory Masterfile, ensuring that its information is accurate at all times.
Key Responsibilities- Inventory Management: Regularly update and maintain the inventory Masterfile with accurate data, including item descriptions, quantities, prices, and supplier information.
- Record Keeping: Maintain detailed records of all inventory transactions and changes in product specifications, details, vendors, etc.
- Inventory Control: Collaborate with the Category Manager to implement inventory control practices, including setting reorder points, managing safety stock levels, and optimizing stock turnover rates.
- Reporting and Analysis: Generate reports from the inventory management system to provide insights into inventory levels, trends, and performance.
- Data Accuracy: Implement data accuracy measures to minimize errors in the inventory Masterfile, ensuring that it aligns with actual stock levels.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills are required to interpret inventory data and make informed decisions.
- Microsoft Office: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and basic inventory management software is essential.
- Communication: Effective communication skills are necessary for collaborating with the Category Manager and other stakeholders.
