Job Description

As an Electrical Systems Maintenance Specialist, you will be responsible for:

  • Performing routine preventive maintenance and troubleshooting breakdowns on electrical and instrumentation systems.
  • Calibrating and maintaining instrumentation across water and wastewater plants, ensuring accuracy and reliability.
  • Modifying and updating wiring diagrams, ensuring accurate documentation and adherence to safety standards.
  • Carrying out planned maintenance tasks and participating in the on-call roster, providing 24/7 support to ensure minimal disruption to operations.
  • Utilizing your expertise in hardware fault finding and data management, resolving complex issues efficiently and effectively.
  • Collaborating with subcontractors, providing supervision and representing Veolia, building strong relationships and ensuring successful outcomes.
  • Contribute to a safe work environment by adhering to WH&S, Environment, and Quality Systems, prioritizing the well-being of yourself and others.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Electrical Trade Qualifications, demonstrating your technical expertise and knowledge.
  • Demonstrated experience in maintenance of heavy industrial plant and equipment, showcasing your practical skills and ability to adapt to new situations.
  • Instrumentation certification is desirable, but not essential, as we are willing to invest in your growth and development.
  • A valid driver's license, enabling you to travel to sites safely and efficiently.
