Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in lesson planning, developing teaching aids, and maintaining inventory of food and supplies.
  • Supervise students during practical lessons, ensuring their safety and adherence to hygiene standards.
  • Manage grocery orders, oversee stock control, and source suppliers for ingredients and equipment.
  • Maintain cleanliness in the Food Technology Room and staff kitchen areas.
  • Coordinate catering functions, events, and coffee club meetings, providing logistical support and event management expertise.
  • Offer classroom support, supervise students, and uphold the college's values and mission.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Certificate III in Education Support or equivalent qualification.
  • Ability to obtain Certificate IV in Special Needs if required.
  • Current driver's license.
  • Proficiency in computer use, particularly for online ordering and administrative tasks.
  • Collaborative mindset and strong communication skills with students, adults, and colleagues.
  • Physical ability to perform cleaning and organizational tasks effectively.
Essential Criteria:
  • A personal commitment to Christian faith and values.
  • Active participation in a church community, demonstrating Christian beliefs and practices.
  • Acceptance of the college's statement of faith.
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
