As a leader in category management, you will oversee stakeholder relationships across the supply chain, including domestic and international suppliers.

  • Evaluate customer-led categories for growth opportunities and develop strategies to maintain a distinct competitive advantage through regular range reviews and new product introductions.
  • Manage supplier relationships and performance, negotiating commercial terms and collaborating with stakeholders to drive business outcomes.
  • Develop and execute product innovation and development plans from concept to launch, working closely with cross-functional teams to bring ideas to market.
  • Establish and maintain industry relationships to stay informed about trends and innovations that impact our business.
  • Provide data-driven insights on category portfolios using Excel and Power BI, analyzing results to inform strategic decisions.
  • Collaborate with procurement teams to develop efficient supply plans and ensure seamless execution.
  • Prioritize customer satisfaction and build long-term relationships that foster loyalty and retention.

To succeed in this role, you will have:

  • Demonstrated experience in category management or a related field, preferably in retail, procurement, supply chain, and marketing.
  • Experience working in B2B environments (trade/distribution customers) is a plus.
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills, with a focus on mentoring and knowledge sharing, as well as presenting and engaging audiences.
  • A positive attitude and an inquisitive nature, with a willingness to learn and adapt to changing business needs.
  • Effective relationship building skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders within the organization and external vendors and suppliers.
  • Proficiency in Excel and Power BI, with the ability to analyze complex data and present insights in a clear and concise manner.
