About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Civil Construction Surveyor to join our team at Glennos Construction. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and success of our civil construction projects.

As a Civil Construction Surveyor, you will be responsible for reviewing tender documentation, interpreting plans and specifications, and establishing control points, benchmarks, and GPS localisation for construction projects. You will also perform survey modelling and set-up for construction, convert .dwg design files into survey files for set-out and machine guidance, and conduct field set-outs, topographic surveys, boundary surveys, and construction staking.

You will manage survey equipment, including total stations, GPS receivers, and levels, and prepare detailed survey reports and maintain accurate records. You will also collaborate with project teams to resolve survey-related issues, manage quality, safety, and environmental aspects of the role, and ensure compliance with safety protocols during fieldwork.

We are looking for a candidate with a Tertiary Surveying qualification and a minimum of 5 years experience in civil construction surveying. A background in the Civil Construction industry and experience with earthworks, pipelines, and roadworks is also essential.

The ideal candidate will have experience with GPS machine control, preparing design models for machine guidance, and proficiency with TOPCON total stations and GPS equipment. Familiarity with Magnet, Civil3D, and AutoCAD software is also highly valued. Strong knowledge of surveying principles and techniques, a construction white card, and commitment to health and safety are also required.
