Job Opportunity:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced tradesperson to fill the position of Construction Carpenter. The ideal candidate will have a strong working knowledge of construction techniques, materials, and building codes.

  • The selected individual will be responsible for interpreting and following construction plans and blueprints to build and install various wooden structures, fixtures, and fittings.
  • They will measure, cut, and assemble wooden components to construct framing, walls, floors, stairs, roofs, and other structural elements.
  • Additionally, they will install doors, windows, cabinets, and other finishing touches to complete the construction process.
  • The successful applicant will work collaboratively with the construction team to ensure projects are completed on time and to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Strong working knowledge of construction techniques, materials, and building codes.
  • Able to read and interpret construction plans and drawings.
  • Proficient in the use of hand and power tools, as well as woodworking machinery.
  • A commitment to safety, quality, and efficient work practices.
  • A positive attitude, willingness to learn, and being proactive.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • White Card (Construction Induction Card).
  • Ability to pass a Police Integrity Check.
