Key Role in Rural Healthcare

The Moranbah Health Service is seeking a highly skilled Senior Medical Officer (GP/Rural Generalist) to provide high-quality clinical care to hospital clients.

Essential Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain a high-quality clinical service to hospital clients
  • Provide education and training to medical staff, students, allied health professionals, and community groups
  • Coordinate patient care with other personnel within the hospital and wider community
Requirements:
  • Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency with a current annual practicing certificate
  • Fellowship of ACRRM or RACGP, or enrolment in a training program
  • Advanced Skills in Emergency Medicine, Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Remote Medicine, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health, Mental Health, Paediatrics, and Palliative Care (highly desirable)
