About the RoleWe are seeking a skilled and experienced Glove & Barrier Lineworker to join our dynamic workforce at our Keysborough and Glen Waverley depots. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for:
- Interpreting technical drawings and network line diagrams to ensure accurate construction and maintenance of electricity distribution networks.
- Undertaking the construction and maintenance of electricity distribution networks in accordance with Company Policies, Quality Systems, and HSE procedures as well as statutory requirements.
- Responding to emergency situations on high/low voltage distribution assets.
The ideal candidate will possess exceptional technical expertise and hands-on experience with both overhead and underground line networks. You will have the opportunity to leverage cutting-edge best practices from leading industry environments, ensuring you are always at the forefront of innovation and excellence.
- Hold a current VIC Electrical Licence.
- Be Glove & Barrier qualified.
- Hold a valid Australian Drivers Licence (heavy vehicle highly desirable).
- Hold a White/Blue card.
- Be willing to travel within the state, including overnight or longer stays as required, and conduct work outdoors in various types of weather.
