Job Title: Health Centre Coordinator or Manager

This role offers a unique opportunity to lead our clinical care team in a respected Aboriginal community-controlled health service. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing staff allocation, patient flow, equipment checks, and team communication.

The successful candidate will have a degree-qualified Registered Nurse or Aboriginal Health Practitioner with AHPRA registration and experience working in remote or Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Services.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Manage daily operations, including staff allocation, patient flow, equipment checks, and team communication
  • Lead a multidisciplinary team, providing guidance and support as needed
  • In the absence of the Manager, take on broader leadership responsibilities, including budgeting, meeting coordination, and workforce management
  • Develop and implement effective strategies to improve patient outcomes and satisfaction

Requirements:

  • Degree-qualified Registered Nurse or Aboriginal Health Practitioner with AHPRA registration
  • Experience working in remote or Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Services
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to build great relationships in community settings
  • Ability to juggle clinical care with team support and operational leadership
  • Highly organized, with excellent time management and problem-solving skills
