Lead Anaesthesiologist

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Consultant Anaesthetist to lead our multidisciplinary team at a 303-bed acute care teaching hospital in Adelaide, South Australia.

About the Role:

The successful applicant will provide specialist anaesthetic services to patients while promoting patient safety and quality of care. They will also be responsible for leading, orienting, training, supervising, and educating doctors in training, Health Service Medical Practitioners, and other health workers.

Adelaide is a vibrant city with a rich cultural scene, renowned wine regions, and a coastal location on the eastern shores of Gulf St Vincent. The hospital is situated approximately 10 minutes from the CBD, offering a well-planned layout with wide streets, large public squares, and numerous parks.

Our hospital provides inpatient, outpatient, emergency, and mental health services to over 250,000 residents, making it a critical part of the local healthcare system.

Requirements:

• AHPRA registered Anaesthetists (FANZCA) or within 6 months of receiving the fellowship
• International Medical Graduates who are Specialist Anaesthetists and have been assessed as Substantially Comparable may also apply

What We Offer:
