We are seeking a seasoned Cyber Security Strategist to join our team in Newcastle, NSW. This exciting opportunity is part of our growing protective security capability group.

About the Role:

  • You will work closely with clients and task leads to plan resource management for our cyber-worthiness team across various projects.
  • Providing regular reporting on all cyber-related tasks within the client's portfolio is another key responsibility.
  • You will also work with clients to enhance their cyber-worthiness culture across their organisation.
  • In this role, you will lead or be part of a team that develops, implements, and maintains the cyber-worthiness program for multiple defence platforms.
  • Working with stakeholders to achieve certification and accreditation, including international partners, DASA, and other authorities, is essential.
  • You will participate in our continuous skills development programme within the protective security capability group.

About You:

  • You have extensive experience in cybersecurity, preferably in the defence domain.
  • A demonstrated understanding of defence cyber-worthiness is required.
  • You should have knowledge of ICT Accreditation processes for platform and system acquisition and sustainment.
  • A good understanding of CASA or DASA requirements affecting platform accreditation is necessary.
  • You must have experience leading teams, including resource management, capability development, and career planning.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement skills are crucial.
  • Self-motivation is vital for success in this role.

This position requires an existing Australian Government Security Vetting Agency (AGSVA) security clearance of at least NV2 and preferably PV. An ITAR requirement applies.
