About This Role

Key responsibilities include leading SCADA system projects from design to implementation, providing expert advice on regulatory compliance and emerging technologies, and acting as a technical lead on major bids and proposals.

  • Lead complex SCADA system projects, including design and configuration
  • Provide authoritative engineering advice on regulatory requirements, system integration, and technology adoption
  • Support business development and client engagement through technical leadership on major bids and proposals
  • Manage SCADA-related systems, documentation, and standards, ensuring version control and testing integrity

Successful candidates will hold postgraduate qualifications in Electrical Engineering (or related field) and RPEQ or RPEV accreditation, with significant experience in SCADA systems across renewable energy, substations, and grid infrastructure.

They will also possess proficiency in multi-vendor SCADA configurations, RTUs, HMIs, and relevant communication protocols, as well as an understanding of the Australian electricity industry and regulatory requirements.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional communication, stakeholder engagement, and influencing skills, with experience working in a team environment and managing risk, maintaining safety standards, and delivering quality outcomes.
