Operations Manager Job Description

Join our dynamic team and take on the exciting role of Operations Manager. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our assets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and coordinate day-to-day activities to achieve desired customer and tenant satisfaction levels.
  • Lead and develop a high-performing Integrated Services Team, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient delivery of services.
  • Drive a safety culture across the asset, ensuring compliance with health and safety procedures and incident reporting.
  • Collaborate with Tenancy Delivery Manager to ensure effective management of onsite contractors and compliance with policies and procedures.
  • Ensure environmental and OH&S requirements are met, including contractor inductions, risk management plans, and Safe Work Method Statements.
  • Assist with managing operational and non-recoverable expenditure budgets and short/long-term capital forecasting.
  • Provide guidance to the Capital Works and Building Services/Operations team in compiling and delivering expense budgets.
  • Participate in national and site-based sustainability forums and engage with stakeholders to drive social sustainability.
  • Nominate and implement projects to improve property performance, assuming accountability for delegated projects.
  • Maintain compliance with relevant statutory authorities and apply sound engineering practices in maintaining property structure and facilities.
  • Take ownership of emergency, crisis, and risk management training programs, including evacuation procedures and crisis management situations.
  • Drive overall property presentation standards, including cleaning, security, customer service, and maintenance.
