National Inventory Manager

About This Role
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leading inventory excellence across complex operations, with a strong focus on product quality, supply chain optimisation, and stakeholder engagement.
This is a high-impact role for a seasoned leader who can drive business growth through strategic stock control and team leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement national inventory strategies to align with commercial goals
- Lead the development and implementation of process improvements to enhance responsiveness and reduce waste
- Foster a strong safety culture through proactive HSE leadership and champion cross-functional collaboration
- Build and mentor a high-performing team focused on continuous improvement and innovation
- Maintain effective relationships with stakeholders to ensure alignment with business objectives
Requirements:
- A background in Process Engineering or similar discipline (highly regarded)
- Proven leadership experience in complex, fast-paced environments, ideally within manufacturing or logistics
- A strong commercial mindset with the ability to develop and execute inventory strategies that drive business results
- Experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP
- A track record of driving safety, continuous improvement, and stakeholder engagement
