Timber Flooring Installation Apprenticeship

This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in timber flooring installation. Working alongside experienced professionals, you will develop expertise in various aspects of the trade.

About the Role:

  • You will assist experienced floor installers in preparing and installing timber floors.
  • You will learn proper installation techniques for engineered timber flooring.
  • You will participate in site assessments and assist with measuring and evaluating areas for flooring installation.
  • You will help prepare materials.
  • You will align patterns and layouts for optimal visual appeal and layout.
  • You will follow safety protocols and guidelines while using tools and equipment.
  • You will maintain cleanliness of work areas.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong interest in learning the flooring installation trade.
  • Able to lift and carry heavy materials and equipment.
  • Excellent attention to detail and willingness to learn from experienced installers.
  • Great communication and teamwork skills.
  • Basic knowledge of hand tools, and willingness to learn how to safely use power tools.
