We are seeking a skilled Medical Educator to join our team at the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP). The successful candidate will have a passion for medical education and experience in the general practice environment.

Job Description

This part-time role involves assisting with planning, developing, and delivering education activities for registrars and supervisors. You will work under the guidance and mentorship of Medical Educators to contribute to the development and delivery of education and training activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver education and training programs for registrars and supervisors
  • Support Medical Educators in curriculum planning, implementation, evaluation, and review
  • Contribute to medical education projects to improve areas of GP training
  • Attend Medical Educator meetings and other stakeholder-related meetings as required
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Experience in the general practice environment
  • Strong communication and advocacy skills
  • Succesful completion of GPT1 and GPT2 training with Australian General Practice Training (AGPT) program by January 2025
  • An approved clinical GP training placement within RACGP
