POSITION OVERVIEW.

As a Licensed Land Surveyor within a local government authority, you will deliver exceptional surveying services, which encompass the auditing and management of internal surveys, alongside executing various survey types including detail, boundary, and subdivision assessments. Your role will involve collaboration with external consultants and internal stakeholders, as well as offering technical assistance to the design team.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES.

  • Deliver comprehensive surveying services that include fieldwork and the preparation of associated reports, sketches, and plans.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, surveying standards, and regulatory frameworks.
  • Utilize CAD and other survey design tools and applications effectively.
  • Foster and maintain cooperative working relationships with internal clients.


QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE.

  • Bachelor's degree in Surveying.
  • Registered or in the process of registration as a Land Surveyor with the Board of Surveying & Spatial Information NSW.
  • Experience in conducting 3D topographic surveys for various infrastructure projects.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in using robotic total stations and GNSS, with a foundational understanding of TLS.
