As an Operational Lead, you will play a key leadership role in managing day-to-day clinic operations, supporting administration staff, and ensuring high-quality patient service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership, coaching, and mentoring to administration and reception staff.
- Oversee rostering, awards compliance, and HR functions in consultation with the Practice Manager.
- Ensure smooth daily operations, troubleshooting issues proactively.
- Uphold high standards of customer service and patient care.
- Support the implementation of RACGP standards and practice policies.
- Manage stock, reception workflow, and administrative processes.
- Ensure compliance with infection control procedures and workplace policies.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years' experience in a senior general medical practice receptionist role.
- Strong leadership and mentoring skills.
- Thorough understanding of MBS items and billing.
- Advanced Best Practice software skills.
- Experience in rostering, HR, and operational management.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions.
- Professional, friendly, and patient-focused approach.
- Experience in the primary healthcare sector.
- Strong computer literacy, including MS Word and Excel.
- Knowledge of quality management systems.
