About You

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • A Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
  • An Australian Driver's Licence
  • Working at Heights and Confined Space Tickets
  • Forklift High Risk
  • Elevated Work Platform High Risk
  • Franna Crane High Risk
  • Vehicle Loading Crane ticket
  • Dogging/Rigging High Risk
  • Demonstrated experience in open pit mining maintenance operations
  • Intermediate computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

The Role

In this Mobile Maintenance Trainer position, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality training solutions and results. You'll work collaboratively with Supervisors and Superintendents to schedule training sessions, communicate feedback to site personnel, and verify competence for high-risk tickets.

You'll also be responsible for reviewing procedures and processes that improve performance, job satisfaction, and productivity, as well as utilising and generating reports from our training database.

Additionally, you'll ensure compliance with safety standards as it relates to mining and other applicable work areas, conduct or facilitate safety educational programs, identify training needs, and conduct, monitor, and coordinate training assessments.
