Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Safety is our top priority, and you will play a critical role in ensuring our operation supports our Zero Harm initiative.
  • You will build a culture of teamwork, drive engagement, and foster trust among team members.
  • Execute efficient loading activities and ensure timely departures of all planned loads.
  • Direct night shift activities to achieve business objectives, reduce costs, increase profits, and drive volume growth.
  • Mentor and coach team members to enhance cross-skilling of teams and individuals.
  • Collaborate with 3rd party logistics, supply chain, and other shifts to support and oversee outcomes aligned with our national operations strategy.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A tertiary qualification in engineering or logistics (desirable) or equivalent direct experience.
  • Strong people leadership and engagement skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team to achieve their best.
  • Working knowledge of Chain of Responsibility and load restraint standards.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and make time-sensitive decisions in line with a made-to-order customer base.
