We are seeking an exceptional Senior Associate to join our highly respected Competition, Regulation and Trade team.
The successful candidate will be a member of a world-leading international law firm with a global presence.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who has significant experience in competition and/or consumer and regulatory law.
Job DescriptionWe advise many of Australia's and the world's leading organisations on the full spectrum of competition, consumer law and regulatory work, including cartel and behavioural investigations, litigation, merger clearances, and regulatory advice.
Our clients operate in a wide range of industry sectors including telecommunications, tech, energy and natural resources, financial institutions, infrastructure, transport, manufacturing and industrials and retail.
We bring a focussed and commercial approach to competition and consumer law issues, drawing on our sector knowledge and our deep understanding of commercial objectives and stakeholder needs.
We are recognised by clients as providing clear, practical and highly commercial advice.
In addition to competition and consumer law matters, our team has extensive experience in advising on access and economic regulation matters for regulated assets and access seekers.
Key Requirements- Significant experience as a Senior Associate in a leading private practice firm or relevant regulator experience in Australia.
- In-depth experience in competition and/or consumer and regulatory law, ideally in both advisory and contentious work.
- An excellent academic record, and natural commitment to continuous learning.
- Strong communication skills and an enjoyment for developing junior Lawyers.
- An ability to work to tight timeframes, collaboratively and at times autonomously.
