About Emergency Response

The Queensland Fire and Emergency Services is responsible for ensuring the safety of people and property through prevention, preparation, response, and recovery activities in various emergency situations.

Our team comprises firefighters who work together to deliver improved safety outcomes for the community.

We are seeking skilled individuals who can commit to attending incident and emergency calls, drills, and training sessions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Respond to fire and other emergencies as part of a high-performing team.
  • Promote community safety and emergency preparedness through education and outreach activities.
  • Maintain competencies by participating in regular training courses and drills.
  • Operate specialist firefighting equipment safely and effectively.
  • Contribute to station upkeep and hygiene, ensuring a safe working environment.
  • Ensure maintenance and repair of operational equipment, ensuring optimal performance.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
