Job Title: Regional Facilities Manager

St John WA is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Regional Facilities Manager to join our team. As a key member of our Property and Development team, you will be responsible for managing and scheduling the facilities management of our regional operations facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure the Preventative and Reactive maintenance for all managed facilities is planned and executed.
  • Monitor utilisation of resources to ensure effective and efficient progress is maintained.
  • Develop contractor selection and work scope, including WHS requirements.
  • Implement and maintain systems to meet regulatory compliance.
  • Establish realistic and achievable objectives for the development and implementation of initiatives and agreed deadlines.
  • Ensure all stakeholders are advised, engaged and kept informed of initiative's progress to facilitate the project's lifecycle.
  • Monitor relevant legislation for changes that have capacity to affect the organisation's Property and Development operations to provide recommendations for any remedy required.
  • Prepare documents to enable quotes and costings for selected preventative, reactive & projects works.
  • Ensure all correspondence and administrative processes are completed in accordance with relevant policies and procedures to facilitate the provision of accurate and timely information.
  • Provide day to day supervision and leadership to team members to ensure day-to-day function activities are achieved.
  • Manage people related matters which may have some complexity that includes conduct, performance, fitness and grievances or ensure they escalate to line manager/People Services for advice.
Requirements:
  • Demonstrated people management and leadership experience.
  • Demonstrated capacity to build positive working relationships and communicate at all levels across a diverse demographic of internal and external stakeholders that ensures successful outcomes.
  • Ability to adapt and utilise corporate information systems and MS Office applications to an intermediate or advanced level.
  • Previous experience in efficient facilities management & producing quality project outcomes.
  • Experience in implementation of change, systems and processes.
  • Experience in asset management, project management and contract management environment.
  • Tertiary qualification in Management, Facility management or relevant field.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar environment.
  • WorkSafe Construction Induction Card (White Card).
  • C class drivers' license.
